Peru: Andean Adventures and Machu Picchu

Peru: Andean Adventures and Machu Picchu

Experience all the adventures that the Peruvian Andes have to offer. Hike through the mountains, scale the valley walls, and paddle over the pristine alpine lakes. On this program we will explore the former capital of the Inca empire, marvel at the remains of the lost citadel of Machu Picchu and taste, see and feel the richness of this UNESCO World Heritage site.

I loved the intensity of the travel, all the activities we did (my favorite was mountain biking) and how close we got as a group.

Your time with us in the Peruvian Andes will be special. Yes, it’s the ancient home of the Incas, but it’s the modern home of a vibrant culture and a friendly people.

You’ll see how the local residents live amid the striking landscapes in the Andes Mountain Range. Here some traditional customs remain, from wearing vibrant clothing colors to using alpacas for daily needs.

The Inca ruins throughout the region also take you back in time. This includes the renowned ancient citadel of Machu Picchu. Check out our video to see some of our travel highlights in Peru.
