Lillie’s Pura Vida Service Trip to Costa Rica

Hi!!! I’m Lillie and this past month I went on a Costa Rica Pura Vida service trip with Rustic Pathways!!

Zip Lining Through the Rainforest in the Rain

We got to partake in so many exciting experiences, but my all time favorite has to be when we zip lined through the rainforest in the rain.

This trip will forever be in my heart and I made so many lifelong memories and friendships

Lillie describes lifelong memories and friendships from Costa Rica. The memories concern the summer 2026 session, and Lillie first shared them on the Rustic Pathways Instagram account on July 3, 2026.

The program still runs as Costa Rica: Pura Vida Service. It runs 8 days for students ages 14–18 and includes about 16 hours of community service near Arenal Volcano, helping improve local schools and maintain park trails, plus ziplining through the rainforest and whitewater rafting. See the program page for the current itinerary, dates and activities.
