The 36-Hour Anywhere Principle is Rustic Pathways’s standard for Program Leader readiness. It expresses the expectation that a trained leader can enter a new operating context on short notice, absorb destination-specific information, work with local support, and lead responsibly. It describes adaptability backed by preparation, not unsupported deployment or improvisation without local knowledge.
