Teacher-Led Trips in Vietnam
Vietnam is a unique mix of cultures, languages, and histories. Rustic Pathways has partnered with local communities and development organizations across Vietnam since 2010 to help our students gain a profound understanding and appreciation for the astonishing story of this charming Southeast Asian country. Students often leave Vietnam after having profound experiences, returning home with changed perspectives and want to contribute in positive and impactful ways to their own communities.
Vietnam is my home and I’m proud to expose students to this marvelous country’s rich history, charming culture, and delicious delicacies. Students who travel to Vietnam can expect to see eye-opening historical landmarks and assist communities on impactful service initiatives. Rustic Pathways Vietnam is not simply a 9 to 5 job. It is my passion—my life! – Viet Nguyen, Vietnam Program Manager
Quote by: Originally from Hanoi, Viet joined Rustic Pathways in 2015. Viet developed a passion for creating life-changing experiential education experiences as a volunteer tour guide in college, making him the perfect fit to lead our Vietnam operations. Outside of work, you’ll find Viet jamming along with The Beatles and Queen, or trying to hit the highest note from a-ha’s “Take on me.”
