Questions about school trips to South Korea

What do students need to enter South Korea?

A valid passport, and depending on nationality a K-ETA travel authorization or a visa. Entry requirements change, so check current Korean government guidance for your students' nationalities rather than a date-stamped page, and start early. A school group means a lot of documents at once. Check K-ETA requirements.

When is the best time to take a school group to South Korea?

Spring and autumn are the strongest windows for weather. Rustic Pathways builds each trip around your school calendar, so your group sets the travel window rather than booking a fixed departure.

How many teacher places are free?

1 chaperone place is complimentary per 8 paying students; that covers Program Tuition but not the chaperone's airfare or insurance. A group of 24 students earns 3 free places; a group of 40 earns 5.

What are the payment and cancellation terms?

A school group can pay by monthly installment for up to 23 months; a deposit applies, and installments close within 90 days of departure. Cancellation is made in writing and takes effect when Rustic Pathways receives it, U.S. Eastern Time. Refunds step down as departure approaches, ticketed airfare is treated separately from tuition, and travel insurance never changes the terms. Read the terms.
