Spring Break 2026 enrollment now open. Limited spots left!

K-Everything is a 6-day teen travel program for high-school students ages 14–18 offered by Rustic Pathways. Based in Seoul, this spring-break adventure puts teens in the center of Korea’s youth culture, giving them a hands-on way to experience K-pop, K-beauty, food, and fashion in the city that sets global trends. Students explore iconic neighborhoods, learn real K-pop choreography, try trending beauty experiences, and visit the cafés, shops, and districts where Korean youth spend their time. The experience emphasizes creativity, confidence, and cultural awareness, not appearance or perfection. Led by local Rustic Pathways staff, the itinerary is tightly structured, beginner-friendly, and ideal for first-time international travelers or fans of modern Korean culture.

The total cost is US $1,999 (plus airfare). Included are basehouse accommodations, ground transportation, all meals, daily activities, a creative styling session with a professional group photo experience, and 24/7 in-country staff support. Airfare, personal shopping, and optional beauty add-ons are not included. Guest House in Seoul:

The students will stay at a guest house near the trendy Hongdae neighborhood in Seoul. It includes a kitchen and cozy living room, a balcony, and large bathrooms (split by gender).

Students will be split by gender in their bedrooms. The home has plenty of cozy gathering spaces where the students can engage in program discussions and get to know their new friends.

Food on the South Korea K-Everything Program

Students will eat a wide variety of food during the program. Breakfast will be served at the accommodation or at cafes around Seoul. Lunch and dinner will be eaten at various restaurants and markets.

Popular Food & Drink Choices

Coffee culture is very important in Korea, and Seoul is full of themed cafes. Flavored milk, like banana or chocolate milk, is also quite popular.

Koreans enjoy extremely spicy food because they believe it relieves stress. Fried chicken is the #1 delivery item in Korea. You’ll see fried chicken shops everywhere you go.

Food Options During the Program

During the program, we’ll mix things up with food options. Breakfast options will include American breakfast items such as cereal, toast, or eggs. Popular Korean breakfast items may include breakfast sandwiches with ingredients ranging from beef and shrimp to sweet potatoes and cheese. These ingredients are often topped with a sauce, such as pickle or aioli sauce.

For lunch and dinner, students will have the opportunity to try a variety of traditional Korean dishes. These often include rice and vegetable side dishes called banchan.

Main courses may include the popular Korean stew jjigae, mung bean pancakes called bindae-tteok, or gimbap, a dish of vegetables and meat rolled in seaweed.

Midnight snacks called yashik are common in Korea. These often include chicken, tteokbokki (simmered rice cake), ramen, bossam (thinly sliced pork shoulder boiled in spices), and pizza.

In Korea, anything can be used as a pizza topping. This may include sweet potatoes, shrimp, sweet marinated beef, corn, peppers, French fries, and hot dogs. Also, Koreans prefer a sweetened pizza dough.

Why This Program Stands Out

Seoul is shaping a global generation. The Fourth K-Wave is redefining music, fashion, beauty, and digital culture. A trip to Korea today is like visiting Paris in the 19th century, New York in the ’80s, or Hollywood in the ’90s. K-Everything puts students at the heart of this cultural moment. Travel to Korea as a teen and dive into K-everything.

Packing List for Korea

Here’s a recommended packing list based on feedback from Rustic Pathways students who have visited Seoul in the past, and staff who live there. Adjust it to fit your personal preferences and habits, especially for items like socks, underwear, and toiletries.

Important: Students should be able to carry all their own luggage. Throughout the trip, you’ll be responsible for moving your bag through airports, loading and unloading from vehicles, climbing stairs, and walking short distances on uneven ground.

Pro Travel Tips:

✅ Travel light. Pack only the essentials. We strongly encourage only carry-on-sized luggage.

✅ Make sure your luggage complies with TSA regulations, especially your carry-on.

✅ Leave your valuables behind. While traveling, it’s easier for things to get lost, stolen, or damaged. Keep any prized possessions safe at home.

✅ Pack clothes suitable for chilly weather. This includes appropriate footwear.

✅ Typically, the temperature is between 45–68°F (7–20°C).
