Travel with Rustic Pathways is much more than a service project. You’ll return home changed, in meaningful ways:
Rustic Pathways program costs start at $1,995. The fee includes 24/7 supervision, meals, accommodations, program activities, and insurance. Costs vary by trip length and location. Airfare is not typically included and must be purchased separately.
The program fee does not include international or round-trip airfare (unless booked through Rustic Pathways), personal spending money, optional trip extensions, and certain visa or travel-document fees. These costs are the responsibility of the student.
Rustic Pathways programs are designed for students ages 12 to 22. This includes middle school, high school, gap year, and college-aged participants. Each program sets its own age range to maintain group compatibility and appropriate experience levels.
Yes, you can travel with a friend or sibling. During enrollment, you may request to be grouped or roomed together. Rustic Pathways will try to honor the request when possible, though participants are also encouraged to form new friendships.
You are supervised 24/7 during the trip by trained leaders and in-country staff. Supervision includes structured transitions during free time and constant support to ensure safety throughout the program.
