  • Youth Leadership – Costa Rica (2019)
  • Water Access & Coral Restoration – Dominican Republic (2020)
  • Pura Vida Service & Turtle Conservation – Costa Rica (2021)
  • Mountain Air and Island Service – Dominican Republic (2024)

Approach to Leadership

David brings a reflective, student-centered approach to every program he leads. He believes that the most powerful growth happens when students are fully immersed, challenged, and supported.

“I love the Rustic Ties discussions. They give students space to reflect, understand the meaning of their experience, and connect deeply with one another.”

Memorable Moments

David describes each program as a series of “wow moments” when students experience something that shifts their perspective.

“I’ve seen friendships form, confidence grow, and students develop a true sense of purpose. Those are the moments that stay with you.”
