Travel Info: Thailand

Rustic Pathways uses Singapore Airlines and Cathay Pacific for our escorted group flights from the United States to Southeast Asia. Students beginning their trip in the U.S. are required to depart on one of our escorted group flights from one of our gateways airports in Los Angeles (LAX), Houston (IAH), or New York (JFK). Except in the case of students traveling on our Elephants and Amazing Thailand (Summer College Program), who all must travel through JFK. Students are responsible for arranging their own domestic travel to one of our gateway cities.

If flying via New York (JFK), students will have a fuel stop in Frankfurt, Germany (FRA) before proceeding to a connecting flight in Singapore (SIN) to Bangkok, Thailand (BKK) where they will connect with the other members of their program and proceed to their program destination.

If flying via Houston (IAH), students will have a fuel stop in Manchester, U.K. (MAN) before proceeding to a connecting flight in Singapore (SIN) to Bangkok, Thailand (BKK) where they will connect with the other members of their program and proceed to their program destination.

For students departing from Los Angeles (LAX), they will connect Hong Kong (HKG) prior to meeting the group in Bangkok, Thailand (BKK). LAX flights are only offered on specific dates for specific programs and routings. Your Personal Travel Advisor will assign you the appropriate gateway airport and flight routing for your program and location.
