Teen Travel Programs in Tanzania

Since 2006, Rustic has introduced students to the people and cultures of Tanzania. Between safari trips and Mt. Kilimanjaro climbs, students are exposed to indigenous tribal groups, such as the Maasai of the Great Rift Valley and the nomadic Hadzabe, who still maintain traditional lifestyles. Students also work alongside villagers on collaboratively designed service projects, enabling them to integrate with the community and develop a local perspective.

My son’s trip to Tanzania was not just a trip but an experience that gave his life depth and breadth, meaning and purpose.

Meet Team Tanzania

Natalya Morgan

Tanzania Country Director

After graduating from the University of Florida with a degree in wildlife ecology and conservation, Natalya’s penchant for travel, community service, and pad thai guided her straight to Rustic Pathways programs in Thailand after graduation. After leading summer, groups, and gap programs for two years in Southeast Asia and India, Natalya now spends her time in the United States doing outreach with schools, and in Tanzania program managing. She loves hiking, camping, and tasting all of the local cuisines along the way.
