Alex Ball

Peru Country Manager

A graduate of Brandeis University with a degree in international relations, Alex has led programs since 2006 in Costa Rica and Peru. Alex is fluent in Spanish, a veteran program leader, and truly devoted to the Peruvian culture and global humanitarian work. Alex is the founder of a nonprofit educational dormitory that aims to provide school access for Peruvian girls from indigenous communities. Alex’s commitment to the rights of the indigenous people and his altruistic spirit allow the Peru community service projects to constantly improve and grow.

Aaron Alvarez

Peru Country Manager

Our resident cusqueño, Aaron graduated from San An­to­nio Abad University with a degree in tourism. After traveling extensively through Peru and South America, Aaron began working with Rustic in 2012 and brings his strong work ethic and willingness to help to the team. After a long day in the office, you can find Aaron at a live music show or at a futból match with friends. Aaron and his wife, Carolina, recently gave birth to baby Joaquin! Aaron is tech savvy, a movie buff, and never leaves his infectious smile behind.

Kelly Moynihan

Peru Country Director

More than a decade of program leader experience, fluency in Spanish, and commitment to community service make Kelly a natural fit to direct our Peru operations. Previously, Kelly worked in Costa Rica with indigenous communities and turtle conservation efforts after joining Rustic in 2008. Originally from New Jersey, Kelly earned a degree in journalism from American University in Washington, D.C.
