Rustic Spirit Spotlights: Zane, Katie and MacKelle

Zane Billings
Age 16
Alpine High School
Texas, United States

Zane organized and is currently leading a community hygiene drive to support a local family crisis center with hygiene resources and products. He regularly volunteers whenever service opportunities arise.

Zane plans on majoring in public health with the goal of working in the medical field. In his free time, he enjoys riding his two horses and playing tennis.

Katie Nguyen
Age 18
Thomas Jefferson Academy for Advanced Studies
Louisiana, United States

Katie is making a positive impact in her community by volunteering through student government, the National Honors Society and her church. Katie shares advice that may help others, and also encourages others to find their own ways to make contributions.

Katie plans on pursuing a pre-professional track in biology and attending graduate school so she can work in the healthcare field. She loves watching movies, reading books, spending time with her friends and trying new things.

MacKelle Moss
Age 16
Rocky Mountain High School
Wyoming, United States

MacKelle is a member of the Random Acts of Kindness club at her school. Some of her favorite activities done through the club include going to see kids at the elementary school and helping people in need.

MacKelle is thinking of becoming a physical therapist in the future. She plays volleyball, basketball and runs track, and especially loves playing sports with her best friends.
