- Student Travel About Rustic Staff Stories Fiji Islands
If you’ve ever wondered what actually happens on a Rustic Pathways program, we’ve got you covered. Tune into our Instagram Stories where just about every day you can get get a glimpse into the various aspects of a Rustic summer.
Here’s how it works: Go to our Instagram page and click our profile picture in the upper left corner to load that day’s story (don’t forget to turn up the volume on your phone). Insta Stories are a great way to learn more about Rustic and what takes place every summer from the perspectives of our students and staff in a minute or two.
Depending on the day of the week, you might catch an episode of Let’s Try Stuff, a series featuring two Fiji staff members who knock an item off their bucket lists each week. You might see me during Fast Forward Friday where I preview new program experiences we’re offering in 2018.
You could get a glimpse of what it’s like on Rustic’s travel days, when students head to their destination countries each Tuesday during the summer. Or you could go behind the scenes with the Rustic Crew, our global staff members who work from about 20 countries all over the world.

Jack has spent his professional career as a writer and editor. Before joining Rustic, he worked as a journalist in Kansas and Colorado, taught English in Swaziland, and transitioned to marketing roles in the Boston and New York startup worlds. Jack is excited to channel his love of storytelling and his appreciation for education as Rustic’s Content Production Manager. When not working, Jack is either watching baseball or planning his next adventure. Jack and his wife, Blythe, live in Brooklyn.
