For alumni interested in nonprofit work and development, check out the Impact Ambassador position. This volunteer position is through the Rustic Pathways Foundation and is available to alumni of all ages.
We are recruiting passionate and creative fundraisers who are eager to represent our global projects with integrity while helping us to reach our ambitious fundraising targets. The Impact Ambassador Program is an initiative that leverages the generosity of the Rustic Pathways community to support our projects around the globe. We will provide our volunteers with the knowledge and resources to create their own fundraising campaigns and support them in their efforts to raise funds for one or all of our ongoing projects. Successful applicants will attend webinar trainings, collaborate with other ambassadors on fundraising tactics, build a plan to meet fundraising goals, and check in regularly with foundation staff. The time commitment is voluntary, but applicants should be prepared to dedicate a minimum of two hours per week.
Jack has spent his professional career as a writer and editor. Before joining Rustic, he worked as a journalist in Kansas and Colorado, taught English in Swaziland, and transitioned to marketing roles in the Boston and New York startup worlds. Jack is excited to channel his love of storytelling and his appreciation for education as Rustic’s Content Production Manager. When not working, Jack is either watching baseball or planning his next adventure. Jack and his wife, Blythe, live in Brooklyn.
