A Mom Writes About Her Son's First International Service Trip

When 15-year-old Jackson Croze returned home from Fiji in August, he couldn’t stop talking about the Fijian people he met and the experiences they shared. Jackson’s mom, Janice Croze, who co-founded the blog 5 Minutes for Mom, wrote about her son’s experience in a post called A Fifteen Year Old in Fiji—My Son’s Experience with Rustic Pathways Student Travel Program.

Janice had previously written about her decision to enroll her son in a program in Why I Am Sending My Teenager On an International Service Trip. She also wrote about the pre-departure process in Packing and Preparing Your Teen for International Travel.
