Has the program impacted your life?
“This trip meant so much to me, especially after the year and a half we had previously. Finally getting the chance to experience this was truly amazing.
Getting the opportunity to experience Puerto Rican culture was amazing and life changing, to say the least. I would go back in a heartbeat!
The work that we did on the farms has inspired me to gain a new sense of the work it takes to make certain things possible. Both of the farms we worked on were filled with beauty and astounding people, and I miss them more than anything!”
Do you have any memorable moments to share?
“On our final full day in the beautiful country, we got the once in a lifetime chance to voyage through the beautiful rainforest, El Yunque! It was absolutely breathtaking, and I will never forget it.
I have never felt more alive than I had in the moment I faced my fears and jumped off the cliff into the water. All of the strangers and my group cheering me on made me feel loved, and I will never lose that feeling because of it.
